"For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings."
(Hosea 6:6 NRSV)

Over and over in scripture we hear the refrain that God does not want our sacrifices or our burnt offerings. We are told that God's grace is freely given to us. So why do we give? We don't give so that God loves us. We don't give so that God forgives us. We give because God loves us, we give because God forgives us. Our gifts are a response to what God has done in our life. We give to be a part of what God is stilling doing in the world.
When we give to the church we are using our gifts to support the mission and ministry of the church. When you give to Faith UMC, your gifts are going to help people discovery how God is at work in their lives. You are helping to create a community where people can connect to each other, to be known by others and loves by others. You are helping make a difference in the world.
Thank you for your support.
