Children attend the first part of the worship service each Sunday. They either sit with their grownups or in the front of the church with the teacher for the day. After "Kids Rock" and a prayer they head off to Kids Connect, our Sunday morning faith exploration experience. This experience is held on the lower level in Rooms 114-116, with a teacher and assistant, who all follow our established safety protocols. This hands-on experience means sometimes we get a little messy! Thank goodness for paint shirts.
Our Kids Connect program is for children 5 years old through 5th grade. We meet on Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, and coincides with the worship service.
Our Children's Program
Kids Rock is our time with children about 10 minutes into the worship service.
They sit up front on carpet squares with a pastor for a time geared just for them.
Sometimes it's a reflection on what the grownups will hear in worship and sometimes it's about what we will be doing in Kids Connect.
