We primarily serve the communities of Northeast Minneapolis, St. Anthony, New Brighton, and Columbia Heights, yet members come from many parts of the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities.
We're a church that's large enough to offer our members and friends a choice of programs and opportunities to serve, yet small enough so that we can really get to know each other. We are a loving, supportive church where you are known by name and nurtured in your spiritual journey.
We do this by affirming all persons as valued children of God, inviting people to experience a caring community, nurturing spiritual growth and renewal, responding to the human need for dignity, peace, and justice, and extending the church by sending and supporting persons to serve and minister.

We celebrate that we are all children of God, created by God with our many differences and that all are welcome at God's table. We affirm that God's love is not limited by the boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, physical capability, mental ability, or other human-made distinctions. We believe that prejudice, hatred, or discrimination directed toward any individual or group is contrary to the life and spirit of Jesus Christ.

Each spring Faith has a flower and plant sale, with the proceeds donated to RECLAIM, a St. Paul organization that provides care to queer and trans youth and their families.
Faith UMC provides individual, pre-packaged, nonperishable snacks (such as granola bars and packets of nuts, crackers, chips, etc.) for the McVay Youth Partnership Program – a free after-school program for middle and high school youth that incorporates art, drama, music, service projects, games and assistance with homework. This year we are supplying snacks for the Mounds Park UMC location in east St Paul. Snacks may be dropped off at Faith UMC at the Outreach table in the church Commons.
On Wednesday of the first full week of every month, Faith members and friends meet at Eastside Meals on Wheels (1510 33rd Avenue NE Suite 1, Minneapolis, MN. 55418) at 11:15 a.m. to deliver hot meals to shut-ins. Volunteers needed. Contact Mari Donaldson, 651-633-6838.
