Events at Faith
On Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7 p.m., we gather for a casual, contemplative worship service in song, poetry, scripture, and silent and spoken prayer. It’s a time to slow down and recenter ourselves in the midst of the week—to remember that we are the people of God, called to be a loving, healing, and justice-seeking presence in the world. We find calm in meditative music, we center ourselves in prayer and silent meditation, and we experience scripture in a new way when we read it side by side with contemporary or ancient poetry. We light candles to remember those who have gone before us, to send healing prayers for those who need healing, encouragement, or justice and to express our commitment to continue listening to God’s will in our lives.
You are welcome to participate at whatever level you want to participate! You may want to slip in quietly and simply let the liturgy and song wash over you without uttering a word. You may want to join in the singing and the communal prayers. You may want to participate in leading the service by lighting candles, reading, leading prayers or songs, and even choosing readings or setting up the altar.
Contemplative Worship on Wednesday Evenings
The Sanctuary Choir sings almost every Sunday except during summer. Rehearsals (during the fall, winter and spring) are on Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m.

You're invited to join a group of men who meet at 8 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast and fellowship. The Men's Breakfast meets at the Perkins on County Road D and Highway 88.

You're invited to join a group of women who meet at 9 a.m. on the third Saturday of the month at Perkins (County Rd D and Hwy 88) for food and fellowship.
Women's Breakfast Group on the 3rd Saturday of the Month
All women of the church are welcome to join for food and fellowship on the first Monday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at Culver’s on Silver Lake Rd.
Women's Culver's Group on the 1st Monday of the Month
Each month a group of volunteers of the church meets to do repairs and upgrade the church building and property. They enjoy a time of fellowship with coffee and a special treat, and they keep the church in its beautiful condition. The group gathers at 9 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month.
