Boy Scouts ushering at Faith on Scout SundayBoy Scouts Troop 153

Boys 6th – 12th grades, 7:30 p.m. Mondays. Camping, outdoor activities, and a challenging advancement program are used to develop self-confidence and leadership skills, and to introduce youth to over 100 hobby and career choices. They learn by doing with weekly scout-led meetings and monthly camping trips.

Cub Scouts Pack 153

Boys 1st – 5th grades. Family and neighborhood centered, Cub Scouts work on award requirements with their families and meet weekly for age-specific activities in small groups (dens) under the direction of volunteer leaders. Monthly pack meetings bring dens and families together for recognition and fun.

Some special events and special music mark Black History Month.

Faith UMC will have two identical services, at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., on Ash Wednesday.

Roll Down, Justice! will be our Lenten Biblical reflection. It will be offered pm Wednesday mornings, starting, on February 26 or on Thursday evenings, starting on February 27.

Rev. Diane Christianson and four other members of Faith UMC took part in a tour this fall that followed in the footsteps of Paul as he traveled in Turkey and Greece in the early years of Christianity. Now, during January and February, Pastor Diane will share “Highlights of Paul’s Missionary Journeys” as a special sermon series.
