One more parking lot service, then in-person worship in the Sanctuary

Faith UMC will have another parking lot worship service on Sunday, July 11, and then we will move to in-person worship in the Sanctuary. Both the parking lot and the indoor services will be at 9:30 a.m. through Labor Day weekend.

Starting July 18, we will move to our normal summer worship schedule, with services at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. What will be new is that we will live-stream those services each Sunday morning so that people not yet vaccinated or otherwise unable to attend can still view the services online. Again, we ask that people not fully vaccinated wear a mask if they attend the  service in person. There won't be a nursery for these services.

A few things will be different:

  • As we are Live Streaming we will start exactly at 9:30 a.m.
  • We ask that you refrain from singing if you are not vaccinated.
  • Instead of Joys and Concerns we will be using prayer cards.
  • Know your comfort level (keep hugs to a minimum).
  • Communion elements will be pre-packaged.

Our grand reopening of in-person worship in the Sanctuary will be on Sunday, September 12, when we also will return to our normal fall schedule, with worship at 10:30 a.m.

Please spread the word! All are welcome to attend; people not yet comfortable attending may still view the services online.
