Eco-Kids Camp 2019 is coming Aug. 5-8!

Barred OwlWhat does the world look like from the perspective of a bird? Come join us as we explore the ropes course at Kerfoot Adventure Park, make bird masks with Anishinabe artist and storyteller, Julie Boada, and observe birds and their habitats at the Raptor Center, Bell Museum, and Silverwood Park. And because birds like to splash or swim in the water, we will too!

Eco-Kids Camp is for kids who will be entering 3rd through 6th grade in the fall of 2019. We will meet Monday through Thursday, August 5-8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $75 per child. Scholarships are available. Registrations are closed.

This camp is a collaboration of Northeast, Community and Faith United Methodist Churches.

UPDATE 6/4/2019 - Location of Eco-Kids Camp has changed. It will now be held at Faith United Methodist Church located at 2708 33rd Ave NE, St. Anthony.

Parents and grandparents: Volunteers are needed.

We need people to serve as field trip chaperones, help with set-up, prepare or serve snacks, supervise kids during outdoor play, greet families and sign their children in and out, and help with cleanup after camp is over.

Tricia Grimes is our volunteer coordinator. Please contact Tricia to let her know that you are interested and to discuss how you might want to be involved. You can reach Tricia at grimesmn[at] or at 612-706-9523.
