Donate a blanket to the Crisis Nursery

The mission of the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is to end child abuse and neglect and create strong healthy families. One of its programs shelters children for up to three nights in a nurturing,

non-shaming, developmentally appropriate environment. Donated blankets provide comfort and warmth to the children at the shelter.

The blankets can be sewn, quilted, crocheted, knitted or tied single-layer fleece. Of course, store-bought blankets are welcome, too. Bring in your blankets any time up through New Year's Day, and they will be delivered to the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery .

New children’s coats, mittens and hats are also needed.
