Kids Connect

Working on a Kids Connect project

Children's programs

Our Sunday morning program for children is Kids Connect, which is a faith-based education program for children ages 4 through 11.

Our curriculum this year is called “Seasons of the Spirit,” which provides classroom activities that parallel the topics of the worship service each Sunday. Thus, adults and children will focus on the same theme each Sunday. It could improve the conversation over Sunday lunch! F

As part of Kids Connect, children  attend the first part of the worship service each Sunday (starting at 10:30 a.m.), and we encourage them to sit with their class in the front pews. (We will continue to have an elementary class for age 4 through 4th grade and a middle-school class for grades 5-7).

Children help  lead the service, and we will plan the first part of our worship services with them in mind. After the scripture reading, the children and their teachers will leave the service for hands-on activities related to the scripture readings.

Once the children leave the worship service, they will be meeting meets downstairs in Room 115 (ages 4-10, or through fourth grade) and in Room 177 (fifth through seventh grade). All children are welcome; we do need to have you register your child so that we have your child's health information and we know how to contact you in case of an emergency.
